Mary Kathleen Garner, 76, passed away June 8, 2012. Mary was born in 1936 to Mr. Radl and Louise Rusche Radl in Bismarck, North Dakota.
Mary graduated from Bismarck High School and went on to college where she earned her bachelors degree in teaching. She retired from Evansville Grade School where she taught kindergarten.
Mary married Fred Johnson and they had two children. After many years of marriage they divorced. She then married Jack D. Garner.
Mary belonged to many organizations, she also played the flute in a band and belonged to the Casper Symphony. Mary loved entertaining her friends, spending time at their cabin in Glendo and going boating. Mary also loved traveling with her husband. They traveled to many different countries.
She is survived by her husband Jack Garner of Casper; daughter, Kathleen(Patrick) Lingan, of Las Vegas, NV; grandson, Christopher and granddaughter, Kara of Las Vegas; brother, Richard Radl of Gardena CA; three step-daughters, one nephew and three nieces. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, parents and her son, Michael Johnson.
Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m., June 13, 2012 at Oregon Trail Veterans Cemetery. Father August Koeune from St. Patrick’s Catholic Church will be officiating.
