Charles Gilbert “Gib” Dressor, 86, passed away on June 10, 2012. Dad was born on March 12, 1926 near Greeley, CO on a farm to Verna (Johnson) and Francis Dressor.

Dad graduated from Kersey High School in 1943, served our nation in the Navy until his honorable discharge in 1945. He returned to Greeley and in 1949 married Shirley Washburn, they had two children, Dianne Del and Terry Clark. Gib married Tressie Faye Lundine, June 16, 1970, in Casper, WY and until the day he passed, Tressie was his “Bride”.

Dad enjoyed watching sports of all sorts, hunting with his son, fishing and golfing but mostly he will be remembered with much love for his total love for people, all of us will miss that.

He is survived by his bride, Tressie of  Casper; sons, Terry (Lana), Ken (Avis), Keith (Mary); daughters, Dianne of New Mexico, Kathy of Casper; sister Peggy Dressor of Greeley, CO; sister-in-law, LaVerne (brother Bill, deceased) of Greeley, CO; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, grand nephew and grand niece. We were all the “apple” of his eye.

Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m., June 13, 2012 at College Heights Baptist Church. Pastor Mike Cooper will be officiating. There will be a public visitation June 13, 2012 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Bustard’s Funeral Home.

Our Uncle Gib/Great Uncle will be missed dearly! He has made a positive impact on all of our lives. Each visit we would come away and know what an honor it was to have him in our lives. The love that he shared was always so open, honest and given so freely. We are truly blessed to have had such a wonderful man in our lives! May God continue to bless you each and every day!
