Doyle was born in Deshler Nebraska. His parents moved to Midwest in 1929 living in a tarpaper shack until moving to Casper Wyoming. His family moved into a house on East 8th Street. He participated in track and field. Doyle graduated in 1945 from Natrona County High School. He started military service in 1945. Doyle and Barbara were married in 1948. They started a family in 1951. In 1952 they moved to a small farm in West Casper at Riverside Acres. Our family raised horses, sheep, milk cows, chickens, peacocks, ducks, pigs, and loved all animals. Doyle continued his schooling in refrigeration. Doyle worked in his father’s refrigeration business until 1966. Dad encouraged and supported his children’s activities in life. He loved dogs. Jake, a red Australian Shepherd, was his companion on the farm west of Casper on Zero Rd. and delivering Meals on Wheels. He was a very loving and caring man. He smiled when sharing life’s moment with his all his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. A special man with big dreams. We will love and miss him deeply.
