Pearl Eileen Lindsey, 93, passed away peacefully at her home on Easter Sunday, April 1, 2018 of natural causes, with her daughter by her side.
Pearl was born January 19, 1925 in Omaha, Nebraska to Albert Alexander Petersen and Susanna Mulloy Dawson. She was raised in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. She was a longtime member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held numerous church positions in her life.
On August 14, 1943, she married Raymond Floyd Lindsey in Midland, Texas. They later were married in the Logan Temple on December 21, 1962. They spent 62 years together loving life and raising their three children.
Pearl enjoyed planting flowers, raising a garden, cooking and doing arts and crafts. She loved going on vacation every summer with her family. Family was very important to her and she loved being a grandma, grandchildren were the joy of her life. Pearl was loving and kind to everyone and a great example to her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.
Survivors include, her 2 daughters, Dona (Floyd) Wall of Bedford, Texas; Mary Jo (Jim) Burden of Riverton, Wyoming, daughter in law Rilda Lindsey of Shelley, Idaho; 15 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Lois Ott of Chicago, Illinois and Ruth Larson of Casper, Wyoming.
Pearl is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Susanna, husband Ray, a son, Raymond and a daughter, Rayma Sue, 5 sisters and 1 brother.
Funeral Services will be at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Bustard’s Funeral Home, 600 CY Avenue, Casper, Wyoming. Interment will be Monday, April 9, 2018 at the Oregon Trail State Veterans Cemetery in Evansville, Wyoming. Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday, April 6, 2018 at Bustard’s Funeral Home.
